Campus-based student groups and organizations are invited to enter the Sillerman Center's "Generous U" contest, which increases the awareness and involvement of students on college campuses about the importance and impact of philanthropy. Undergraduate and graduate students on U.S. Campuses may submit a cover letter (up to 3 pages) and You-Tube video to apply. Greek letter fraternities and sororities are also able to apply.
Groups may present any organized activity that encourages charitable giving by students, such as giving campaigns, campus-wide challenges, giving circles, social networking efforts, social media initiatives, publications, and intercollegiate events. One first prize in the amount of $10,000 will be awarded, and one runner-up prize of $2,500 will be awarded. Deadline to apply is March 13, 2015. For more information, click here Comments are closed.
