![]() The D'Addario Foundation's annual grant program is accepting 2018 applications. Funding up to $2,500 is available to support programs that bring music back into communities and schools. The Foundation's objective is to get children playing an instrument as early and as frequently as possible, believing the transformative power of music can drive positive social change . Grant funds are focused on providing music instruction in high-need communities. Nonprofits that have not previously applied to the foundation must begin the process by completing a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) detailing how the funds will be used, why it's needed and how many children will be served. LOI's are due by July 31, 2018. Funding awarded in this cycle will be made available in the first quarter of 2019. Preference is given to private nonprofits as opposed to school music programs - however in-school music programs may still submit a letter of inquiry. Click here to review the online LOI form, or visit the grant website for more information. Comments are closed.
