Advocates for education, safety and community development should prepare now to be one of the first 2,000 entries into the State Farm Neighborhood Grants program. The grant application will open on June 6, 2018 at 12:01 PM ET, and will close upon receiving 2,000 applications or on June 15, 2018 at 11:59 pm ET (whichever occurs first).
To prepare in advance for your submission, assemble details of a specific neighborhood project in ONE of the three areas of focus: Education, Safety or Community Development. Be ready to describe how the $25,000 grant will be used and how the grant will impact the community long-term.
State Farm will accept up to 2,000 applications, of which 200 finalists will be selected. The final 40 grant winners will be selected by crowd-sourced voting in your community. Your June 6th submission should also include 3 photos which give life to your cause.
