![]() The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) is accepting applications from young U.S. and Canadian journalists who wish to share their professional expertise with their colleagues in Germany. The Arthur F. Burns Fellowship program provides an opportunity for the journalist to work as a "foreign correspondent" for their hometown news organization. Applicants may apply for a 9 week or 5-6 week program (July - Sept 2018). Fellows receive a $4,000 stipend to cover living expenses during the fellowship in Germany, $1,200 for travel expenses or a travel voucher, and living expenses paid during orientation in Washington, D.C. (Fellows on the 5-6 week program will receive an amount proportional to the length of their fellowship.) The Program for U.S. Fellows: Phase I: Orientation Session in Washington, D.C.
