DeKalb County's Office of Grants and Human Services Administration (OGHSA) has announced its 2018-2019 Human Services Grant Program. These grants provide funding to non-profit organizations with a successful track record of providing services to DeKalb County residents.

Grant funding generally addresses one or more of the following areas:
  • youth development (ie, addressing risky behaviors, education, homelessness, economic-well being, etc.)
  • violence prevention and intervention for women and children
  • child welfare
  • building family unity and capacity
  • supporting seniors and individuals with disabilities to live within their communities

Interested non-profits should attend the OGHSA grants meeting on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Central DeKalb Senior Center, 1346 McConnell Drive, Decatur, GA 30033.

The Human Services Grant Program is competitive and the total number of awards allotted each year is based on the availability of funds.  Grants are typically due around the end of July each cycle.  Click here for a list of DeKalb's nonprofit partners.
